I was born and raised in India and came to the US as a young adult. I have lived and worked in Europe, Asia, New York City and San Francisco. This extensive global travel has given me a rich experience of working with diverse peoples, and a deeper understanding of cross-cultural issues.
I have worked as a software engineer for the United Nationsand for the banking world as well. I understand the excitement, pace and stressors of the Tech World.
It has been a privilege to have conducted Solution Focussed Therapy with Active Duty Military Personnel and their families on various US Bases; both in the US and throughout the world.
I have enjoyed being guest professor of Cross-Cultural Psychology at JFK University in the Bay Area. I have also enjoyed leading therapy groups on "Empowermentfor Women" and "Couples Communication Skills".

I use an Integrative Body/Mind approach, incorporating Mindfulness, Gottman and Emotionally Focussed Couples Therapy, Psychodynamic and Somatic orientations (including Somatic Experiencing, Irest Yoga Nidra and Somatic Attachment), as well as Solution Focussed Therapy.
